Phase I of HRMS will be implemented on Monday, Nov 3rd.

ACCESSING HRMS:

  • To Access HRMS  click on the following:  https://utdirect.utexas.edu/hrms/ 
    (The system will not be accessible until November 3, 2008). 
  • We suggest you bookmark this link in your Favorites file on your web browser.         
  • HRMS will also be accessible through UT Direct under the Administrative Applications category.  
  • To gain access via this route, click here and look for HRMS. 

HRMS HELP

Implementation Assistance:  Following is a list of references should you require assistance associated with HRMS or DEFINE on or after November 3rd:

  • Please direct all calls pertaining to document routing or access or authorizations issues to DEFINE Admin Services at x4346.
  • Direct all calls pertaining to HR related issues to:
    • Employment - For part-time or temporary (non benefit eligible) positions and changes to existing benefit eligible positions not pertaining to reclassifications/audits please call Marie Cameron at x4857.
    • Compensation - For reclassifications/audits/new positions please call Sarah Gonzales at x4254 or Denise Moore at x4653.
    • General HRMS questions - Not relating to Employment or Compensation to Cheryl Nunn x4649

Human Resource Management System (HRMS)
HRMS is a major project that will impact all institutions who use DEFINE to transact employee type actions, e.g. enter, change, or delete, appointments. Phase I of this project will roll out on November 3rd, 2008 and impact Administrative & Professional (A&P) and Classified employees only. [more..]


HOP policies are updated

Three updates have been made in the UTSA Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOP). Periodic updates to the HOP online are announced in @UTSA.

  • Policy 3.1, Annual Non-Faculty Performance Evaluation Program, was updated. The evaluation process is more clearly defined in Section IV.
  • The HOP General Statement was updated.
  • Policy 1.1, Administrative Officers, was revised to include current administrative officers and their duties.

Federal minimum wage increase

Effective July 24, 2008, the Federal minimum wage increased to $6.55 per hour.
