CT0712 - Excel 2000: Level I
Course Description This is a beginning level class for people who want to learn to create and use a spreadsheet. Participants will be able to develop a simple spreadsheet that includes columns, and rows with labels and values. The instructor will introduce and familiarize attendees with the basic uses of Office toolbars, menus, and dialog prompts. Participants will learn to use simple functions to total columns and rows and be able to enhance a table by applying simple formatting. Participants will understand that additional functions can be used to find the lowest and highest numbers in a column, count the number of items in a column or row, and find the smallest number in a column. Class participants will learn how to use the worksheet to do what if analysis. By the end of the class, participants will know that you can use a table to create charts, create worksheets within workbooks, and to copy or move a table into a word processing document or a PowerPoint document.
Participants are encouraged to bring a Flash drive or CD to the class for saving their work.
