UTSA Volunteer Service Programs

Alternative Spring Break
VP of Spring Break - Leticia Allen
Students spend a week doing service in various parts of the country during their spring break, while learning about community issues.

Student Volunteer of the Year
Volunteer Services will recognize one outstanding student volunteer per year. Check out the requirements and fill out an application.

Volunteer Opportunities Fair
Non-Profit social service agencies come to UTSA to inform our students, faculty, and staff about opportunities to get involved with volunteer work.

United to Serve
United to Serve is an all-day event in which UTSA students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to go out into the community and volunteer. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of projects. It is a day for UTSA to make a difference!

United Way Days of Caring
Information on the 2009 United Way Days of Caring: Labor of Love Project will be available in September 2009.

Better World Books Campaign
At the end of each semester, we collect unwanted textbooks and give them to non-profit literacy organizations (Books for Africa, Room to Read, or National Center for Family Literacy.)

Valero Volunteer University
UTSA students can connect with Valero employees on volunteer projects.
