Logos

In 1994, the university adopted the current UTSA logo/wordmark as the brand of the university. The acronym UTSA is set in Futura Bold. The letters in this logo have been stylized to overlap to form a unique representation. This cannot be duplicated with typical desktop publishing systems.
In addition to the UTSA wordmark, the university is represented by the Roadrunner, pursuant to the Handbook of Operating Procedures, Section 4.22. The Roadrunner is the official mascot of UTSA.
