Web & Multimedia Services

Background

In 1998, Web & Multimedia Services (formerly Internet Development) was officially established in an effort to provide a centralized strategy to develop, implement, manage and maintain Web services at UTSA. Working in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology, which oversees the technical support of the main university Internet servers, Web & Multimedia Services acts as the administrative authorization and development agency for all Web-based servers within the utsa.edu domain. Part of this initiative is to provide strategies that will be cost-efficient, comply with state and federal guidelines, and fulfill the present and future business needs of the university.
