About Graphic Formats:
IT departmental logos are graphic files offered in three formats - JPG, TIF, PNG. JPG and PNG file formats work best as images in on-screen presentations and web pages, but are not large file sizes. PNG is the file of choice, it retains its graphic layers, and qualities regardless of the application its loaded onto (MS PowerPoint, web pages, MS WORD etc.) and most applications today support PNG format.
IBM/WINDOWS users who do not have a POSTSCRIPT printer should use IBM-TIF format graphics to achieve the sharpest image.
