Enterprise Systems

The Enterprise Systems Department of the Office of Information Technology provides information technology support and service to the faculty, students and staff of UTSA.  The Enterprise Systems staff are highly qualified and dedicated professionals who strive to provide comprehensive, quality, efficient services to their customers.  The services provided by Enterprise Systems include the local area and wide area networks, central and departmental file servers, systems programming support, Unix support,  and the central computing facility.

Enterprise Systems News

  • Air Rowdy  Expands into the new BSEB building and West Campus locations.  University Heights Air Rowdy coverage has been deployed.
  • Over 2000 unique users log onto Air Rowdy on a daily basis!
  • Air Rowdy peaked with a new high of 818 concurrent users
  • Increased allocated drive space on "I Drive" to 1GB per person.
  • Improving our Anti-Spam offering to further reduce the amount of spam mail received by UTSA staff/faculty. Check your Junk Mail folder to determine if valid mail is getting flagged as Spam.
  • Testing Application Publishing in Active Directory to allow for easier distribution of certain Microsoft products.
