GENERAL INFORMATION
The rules and regulations of the UT System Board of Regents require that all international students on non-immigrant visas and living in the United States enroll in the UT System approved comprehensive health insurance plan.
Enrollment in this insurance plan is automatic at the time of registration. The cost of the insurance will appear on your tuition and fee bill as "Health Insurance".
The following company provides medical health insurance to all UTSA international students: United HealthCare Student Resources (UHCSR). In addition to medical insurance coverage, this policy also provides coverage for Medical Evacuation and Repatriation. However, this insurance does not include vision or dental coverage.
