Hello, I'm Ricardo Romo, President of UTSA.

My philosophy concerning responsibility, accountability, and quality management is based on a shared understanding of the mission and goals of UTSA. This common bond gives us a sense of purpose and direction, and is the foundation of all that we accomplish. As leaders, we are called upon to be honest and ethical in all responsibilities entrusted to us. We remain strongly committed to working together in partnerships and teams in order to foster an environment in which we can reach our potential as individuals and collectively as a community.

We are committed to providing UTSA employees with quality training and the resources necessary to develop their skills and to perform their jobs effectively.

We place a high priority on the development of good business practices and assurance of compliance with laws and regulations.
