Ciudad Juarez: Militarization of the U.S.-Mexico Border

Presentation by:

Veronica Leyva - Mexico Solidarity Network

Veronica Leyva will speak about the state of security in Ciudad Juarez which has been at the center of drug-related violence, hundreds of femicides, and massive migration.

Ms. Leyva is a native of Ciudad Juarez. she worked for seven years in maquiladoras and six years as a labor/community organizer. She has volunteered with the Mexico Solidarity Network since 2004.
