Instructional Design and Development
Instructional Design and Development works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other departments at the university on the design, development and implementation of online courses - from enhanced to fully-online classes.
Instructional Design and Development helps design engaging and effective instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles for online and classroom use.
Instructional Design and Development develops and provides recommendations for interface design, sequencing of instruction, use of assessments, and the design of course materials and activities.
Instructional Design and Development continually explores new technologies for potential application to instructional issues.
Services Provided for Faculty

Host an Instructional Design Lab/Workspace where faculty members can use the latest instructional design tools with assistance from experienced staff

Host live and online Academies/Workshops/Presentations

Offer teaching "Practice Sessions" so that faculty can practice using online tools like Wimba Live Classroom

Provide troubleshooting for instructional design tools and technology

Provide course design/redesign consultations
