First, download UTSALink. UTSALink allows you connect to the campus I: Drive folders as well as the campus network repository for Mac software which is named Mac Updates. Included are instructions for making the connection by dragging the UTSALink icon into your hard drive.

The download also includes instructions for downloading and installing the campus license version of Virex, the anti-virus software. Instructions are included with the download.

Also available is UTSA Auto Backup which can help you configure your Mac to connect to the I: Drive folder when you log in and/or create an automatic backup routine that will copy items you select to a disk image stored in your I: Drive folder. Instructions are included with the download.

The Office of Information Technology will furnish Mac OS X version 10.3 (Panther) or higher for eligible UTSA Macs. Call Laine Lee at 7319 or the OIT Support Services (Help Desk) at 5538 for information.
