myUTSA Apps
The UTSA Office of Information Technology introduces myUTSA Apps -- FREE access to some of the most popular software applications via the Web.
Log in to myUTSA Apps with your myUTSA ID ("abc123" format), and you'll see the available software programs such as:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
- SPSS
- SAS
- ArcGIS
- AutoCad
There is no need to install the different software applications -- these are full-featured Web-based versions of the software packages.
NOTE: Access to the software is restricted to currently enrolled UTSA students. Software is accessible only while you are on campus -- log in through the Air Rowdy wireless network or use one of the PCs in any of the Student Computing Services labs.
To get started, go to http://myapps.utsa.edu. A document containing Frequently Asked Questions and installation instructions is available for download on the Air Rowdy site.
Need more information? Drop by any of the three UTSA Student Computing Labs.
Software For Home Use
Software for home or personal use is available from the University Center Software Sales Site. UTSA has agreements with several software venders to sell software to students, faculty, and staff at greatly reduced prices. Please visit their Web site for more information.
