All Freshmen and Freshman Transfers are invited to complete DISCOVER, a free web-based career assessment program. This comprehensive developmental guidance program will help identify your strengths and needs and will build a career plan based on your personal profile. The program assesses career-relevant interests, abilities, and job values and provides career options that are a good match. DISCOVER also offers complete, current databases of occupations, college majors, schools and training institutions, and military occupations. As you use the program, it will build a personal portfolio that saves your inventory results and favorite selections as well as other personalized career planning information. You can also learn how to develop effective resumes, cover letters, job applications, and interviewing skills.

Prior to attending Roadrunner Roundup, you may use DISCOVER by logging in to the Career Services web page at www.utsa.edu/careerservices. Click on STUDENTS, then click on the INCOMING FRESHMAN section on the sidebar and follow the directions.
