Students, family members or guests that “No-Show” for an orientation program without cancelling their on-line orientation reservation or following the appropriate steps to reschedule their Roundup program are subject to pay their entire non-refundable orientation fee (the amount may vary for each student). The total amount will be added to the student’s tuition and fees bill.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds of any Roadrunner Roundup fees if cancellations are made after the reservation deadline, or if a student, family member, or guest “No-Shows” to the program. If a freshman, freshman transfer or transfer student decides not to attend UTSA he/she must follow the appropriate steps in order not to incur any of the Roadrunner Roundup fees. In order to cancel their Roadrunner Roundup reservation, a student must go to the on-line orientation reservation system and cancel all their reservations prior to the program deadline. All students should retain a copy the cancellation for their records.

All new students regardless of Roundup location, will be assessed an orientation fee as a part of your tuition and fee bills. This includes, staffing, meals and all supporting materials. Participation in the Rowdy Ties Program is optional for an additional fee. All fees are billed directly to your tuition and fee bills.

Roadrunner Roundup Fee
All new students regardless of Roundup location, will be assessed an orientation fee as a part of your tuition and fee bills. The 1604 orientation fee is $150. This includes staffing, lodging for two nights, two lunches, two dinners, two continental breakfasts, entertainment, and all supporting materials.
Rowdy Ties Family Orientation
The cost for the Rowdy Ties Program is $50 per person. This includes two meals, two days of customized programming, a reception, t-shirt, coffee and snack breaks, staffing and all supporting materials. Children age 7 and younger may enter free, however we advise guests to consider a child’s age due to the mature nature of the orientation schedule. The fee will be billed directly to the student’s tuition and fees bill. Reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited.
Rowdy Ties Optional Residential Experience
Family members that attend the Rowdy Ties Orientation program and elect to participate in the Optional Residential Experience will be assessed the housing fee based on the total amount of guests. All fees are based on the required two night stay. The fee includes two nights of lodging at Laurel Village, two dinner meals, a dessert reception, staffing and other supporting materials.

Roadrunner Roundup with Optional Residential Experience
New students attending the Downtown Roundup that elect the Optional Residential Experience will be subject to a $150 orientation fee. This fee includes two nights of lodging, shuttle service between the campuses, lunch, continental breakfast, two dinners, entertainment, staffing, and all supporting materials.
