Family Orientation

If you are a family member or guest of a new student attending UTSA new student orientation, your student has the opportunity to register you for our Family Orientation experience. The family orientation program will answer your questions and prepare you and your student for his or her first semester at UTSA. Find out more about Family Orientation below.

Family Association

The University of Texas at San Antonio’s Family Association aims to provide communication between the University and family members of our students in order to increase student success, facilitate positive University relations, and promote a suitable role for family members within the University community. Valuing the role families play in the lives of students, UTSA officially formed the Family Association in 2004. The Association assists new families in getting acclimated to UTSA by developing social events and monthly newsletters which are designed to enhance the communication between parents and students.
