What to Expect

Summer Family Orientation is a one-day program and typically offered in late spring May. Family Orientation is a separate experience for family  members that runs concurrently with new student orientation.

Family Orientation participants will have the opportunity to listen to, meet and speak with staff from various student service areas. Guests are assigned to their own Orientation Leader (OL) who will guide small groups of participants through a campus tour and informative sessions. In addition, our guests are provided with publications aimed at helping them learn about their students’ transition process at UTSA. Lunch is provided during the Family Orientation program.
