Online Orientation is Available in early May 2017

  • Online Orientation is filled with valuable information about UTSA services, resources, academic policies and much more!
  • Summer term Online Orientation will only become available for freshmen in May, after all on-campus Orientations are complete and prior to classes beginning for the Summer semester. No exceptions will be made for completing Online Orientation prior to this time.

How to Sign Up for Online Orientation

  • Log into ASAP using your myUTSA ID
  • Click on "Orientation Sign Up" off the main menu or under "Student Services" tab to sign up
  • Once you sign up, you’ll be able to view your Orientation Confirmation Packet in ASAP

How to Complete Your Orientation

Review your Online Orientation Confirmation Packet on ASAP for detailed steps on how to complete Online Orientation, including the following items:

  • Complete Online Orientation modules and pass assessment in Blackboard Learn (you’ll use your myUTSA ID) with a 90% or higher.
  • Complete all of your incomplete Rowdy Ready items (You can view your list in your Confirmation Packet)
  • Schedule appointment with your advisor in order to register for classes (You’ll find details about this in your Orientation Confirmation Packet).
  • Get your UTSA t-shirt and planner, by printing coupon from Blackboard and submitting to the Orientation office (while supplies last). The Orientation office is located in the MS Building 2nd floor, room 2.01.10.

Cancellations & Questions

If you need to cancel or make changes to your current Orientation reservation, you must log back into ASAP and make the changes yourself.

If you no longer plan to attend UTSA and you made the $25 pre-payment, it is non-refundable.
