This page is intended to be an introductory page for UTSA's nonresident alien employees, students  and honorarium recipients who will be utilizing Glacier ^TM  Nonresident Alien Tax Compliance System.  Glacier is a web-based comprehensive tax compliance system developed by Arctic International LLC.  The use of this program will streamline the collection of data, create efficiency for our nonresident alien population and provide and utilize the latest tax treaty information.

Before your initial access to this program, please have the following documents with you, as you will need to enter information found on these documents. Not all of the documents listed below may apply to you.

Please allow up to 30 minutes to complete all the screens. In addition, please note that this program in a web-based program, not an internet site: do not use the internet toolbar to navigate this system; use only the navigational buttons provided at the bottom of each screen. It is very important that you review each screen, enter data as needed, and print the Tax Summary Report that is generated at the end of this program. This report must be signed and submitted to the Payroll Office along with copies of all documents listed on the report.
