Demonstration Kitchen
The Demo Kitchen is an interactive cooking demonstration. This instructional program teaches cooking techniques, recipes, and the nutritional content. The meals are designed to be healthy, inexpensive and contain ingredients that are easily used in other recipes. Nutritional information will be given by our Registered Dietitian. The program will typically last 1 hour. Food will be provided free to the first 20 participants to sign up at: fitness@utsa.edu. Each meal prepared in the demo kitchen will include a meal cost sheet and nutrition information sheet. The goal will be to make all meals easy on the college student's budget and easy to prepare with the resources available to most college students.
