What are Intramurals?The Intramural Sports program at the UTSA is structured to provide students, faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive and recreational sports activities. Intramural Sports features short term, on-campus competition in traditional, and some not-so-traditional, sports.All intramural sports include divisions for men, women, and co-rec (men and women playing on the same team).
Where do I begin?To enter an intramural sport, simply submit an entry form online at the "Register Here" page by the deadline posted on the Intramural Schedule.

What if I don't have a team?If you don't have a team, use the "Free Agent" link in the Registration page.
How do I know what sports are being played and when to register?Simply check-out the current semester's Intramurals Schedule. Check the schedule for sport listings and entry deadlines or look for them on our newsletter "@The REC."
Where do I register?Entries for all Intramural sports are only taken online at our Registration page.
What is the points system?The Intramural points system has been established for stimulation of widespread participation in all phases of intramurals, as well as other campus recreation programs. All points that are earned by a team or individual representing their organization in any sport or special event count toward the final all-university point standings.
