All current UTSA students may use the Rec Center by presenting their valid UTSACard.
UTSA faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a membership at the Rec Center. Their UTSACard card will be used for their Rec Center membership entrance card.

Spouses/domestic partners of current Campus Recreation retired faculty/staff members are eligible to purchase a Rec Center membership. Membership does not allow participation in Outdoor Pursuits trips, Intramural Sport Activities or participation on Club Sports teams. A non-transferable Campus Recreation ID will be issued to spouses and domestic partners at the Membership Services Desk. There is a $5.00 replacement fee for lost ID card.

Alumni
UTSA Alumni are eligible to purchase a Rec Center membership. Membership

Guests
Members may sponsor up to 2 guests per day at $10 per guest per day. Guests must remain with member at all times. Guests (18 years and older) will only be admitted to the Rec Center when accompanied by a student, faculty, staff, or alumni with a valid UTSACard with Rec Center privileges.
Solicitation to gain facility access is prohibited and is grounds for refusal of entry, removal from a facility, and/or surrender of paid guest fees.
The limit for the number of guests per sponsor is two per day. If an exception to the guest limit is needed, please contact the
Associate Director of Operations (Laura Munroe) at least one day in advance.
The sponsor will take full responsibility for all conduct of guests and any destruction of equipment or facilities caused by guests. This includes social interactions and financial liabilities.
Guests must remain with their sponsoring member and depart when their sponsoring member departs.
Sponsors must check out equipment and towels for guests.
Guests must present a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport) prior to entering upon payment of guest fees.
Guest Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Guest Passes are valid for one day only.
A Guest Pass form will be completed at the time the guest fee is collected.
Membership is a privilege which may be modified or revoked for cause.
A valid (and with Rec Center privileges) UTSACard must be presented to gain facility access, or upon request of any Campus Recreation staff member. Campus Recreation staff reserves the right to ask for additional photo ID or presentation of photo ID at any time.
Use of UTSACards constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions in effect at the time of use. Presence of a UTSACard does not guarantee current enrollment or Rec Center membership.
Report missing or lost cards immediately. Lost, stolen or destroyed ID cards will be replaced through the UTSACard Office (JPL 1.01.18). Replacement UTSACards are $10.00.
Enter through the main entrance and Control Desk. The use of any other exterior door is prohibited and will activate an alarm system. Individuals having special entry needs may request assistance from Campus Recreation staff.
Memberships are non-transferable.
No one may use someone else's UTSACard to gain facility access. Unauthorized use of the UTSACard is fraud. A UTSACard not belonging to the bearer or of a suspicious nature will be immediately confiscated. The bearer and the owner will face campus disciplinary action.
