Transcripts Requests on ASAP
How to Request a Transcript to be Sent to Another College/University
- From the UTSA home page click on Quick Links.
- Click on ASAP.
- Click on Login to ASAP. If you have difficulty logging in to ASAP call (210) 458-8000 or (800) 669-0919 for assistance.
- Follow the ASAP log in process.
- Click on Student Services and Financial Aid.
- Click on Student Records.
- Click on Request Official Transcript.
- Click on Look Up College Code.
- Select state, province, or country from drop down menus.
- Click on List Cities in Selected State, Province, or Country.
- Select city from List of Cities drop down menu.
- Click on List College in Selected Cities.
- Select College name from drop down menu.
- Click on Copy selected College Information to Data Entry form.
- If the address is correct, click Continue. If not, make modifications and click Continue.
- Enter the number of desired transcripts. Almost always this would be 1 when being sent to another college. No more than 5 transcripts may be selected per day.
- Click on Continue.
- A summary of your request is displayed. Review it for accuracy. If you see an error, use the browser back button and go to the correct screen to correct the error.
- Once correct, click on Submit Request from the summary screen.
- A confirmation page is displayed including your student ID number at the bottom left. You may want to print the confirmation page for your record.
- If you are finished, click on Exit.
- If you want to either request more transcripts or view the status of your transcript requests, click on Return to Menu.
- Click on Request Official Transcript.
- Click on View Status of Transcript Request at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the down arrow next to the word “None,” and select the date of the transcript request you want to check.
- Click on Submit.
- The status of the transcript request will be displayed. If the status of the transcript request says “Sent” that means it has left The University of Texas at San Antonio. It does not necessarily mean that it has been received by the institution where it was sent.
- If you are finished, click on Exit.
