Transcripts Requests on ASAP
How to Request a Transcript to be Sent to Yourself
- From the UTSA home page click on Quick Links.
- Click on ASAP.
- Click on Login to ASAP. If you have difficulty logging on to ASAP call (210) 458-8000 or (800) 669-0919 for assistance.
- Follow the ASAP log in process.
- Click on Student Services and Financial Aid.
- Click on Student Records.
- Click on Request Official Transcript.
- Click on the down arrow next to One of Your Addresses.
- Select the mailing address where you want the transcript sent. If the address where you want your transcript is sent is not listed select None.
- Click on Continue.
-
Double check that the address is correct. Make any corrections as necessary. Please note that any changes made to an address on this page
do not update your official student record. You will need to modify your personal information from the main menu of ASAP to do that.
- Street Line1, City, State or Province, and Zip Code are all required fields in order to have a transcript sent.
- Click on Continue.
- Enter the number of desired transcripts. No more than 5 transcripts may be selected per day.
- Click on Continue.
- A summary of your request is displayed. Review it for accuracy. If you see an error, use the browser back button and go to the correct screen to correct the error.
- Once correct, click on Submit Request from the summary screen.
- A confirmation page is displayed including your student ID number at the bottom left. You may want to print the confirmation page for your record.
- If you are finished, click on Exit.
- If you want to either request more transcripts or view the status of your transcript requests, click on Return to Menu.
- Click on Request Official Transcript.
- Click on View Status of Transcript Request at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the down arrow next to the word “None,” and select the date of the transcript request you want to check.
- Click on Submit.
-
The status of the transcript request will be displayed. If the status of the transcript request says “Sent” that means it has left The University of Texas at San Antonio. It does not necessarily mean that it has been received by the institution where it was sent.
- If you are finished, click on Exit.
