Fall Convocation

Academic convocations celebrate special events or launch a new academic year. The 2011 Fall Convocation will be our tenth annual ceremony to launch the new academic year. An academic convocation can be a significant occasion for student participation. It marks a first step in the higher education adventure. The graduation ceremony at the conclusion of the undergraduate experience is a milestone in a journey of lifelong learning. Your journey begins…at The University of Texas at San Antonio with the 2011 Fall Convocation. The author of the Freshman Common Reading, Doug Fine, will serve as the keynote speaker.
