The Committees

BestFest: We host the biggest event of the Fall semester. BestFest, a carnival-like celebration help in the Sombrilla, serves as a venue for live music, games, contests, and booths run by UTSA organizations
Cinematic Arts: We are the ones who bring you Free Flicks, showing blockbuster hits every month. Like all CAB events we offer free stuff for students who attend our events, more specifically popcorn and candy. In the Spring, we will hold UTSA's first ever student film contest.
Coffeehouse: We focus on creating a coffeehouse atmosphere at our events. We host mostly evening events including, Poetry Slams, Open Mics, Karaoke, and cultural nights.
Downtown: We are located at the Downtown campus and enjoy hosting a wide variety of events. Past events include La Loteria, the annual Family Day, and the annual Night in UTSA (NIUTSA) Festival.
Entertainment: We work to bring comedians, musicians, and talent of all kinds to campus. Rowdy Wing Fling, Roadrunners Got Talent, So You Think You Can SALSA, and RowdyStock are some examples of our past events.

FiestaUTSA: We work hard in the Spring Semester to prepare for our annual FiestaUTSA festival. This event helps kick off Fiesta in San Antonio and is open to the city. FiestaUTSA celebrates the rick hispanic heritage of UTSA and San Antonio through music, food, and art.
Spirit & Traditions: We have spirit, yes we do! Our committee has fun showing school spirit and keeping UTSA's traditions alive. The Homecoming Tailgate and Spirit Days are our ways of getting you to show your spirit and learn more about UTSA traditions.
Publicity: We promote CAB and love 'out of the box' ideas. We also help other committees with publicity for their events and attend as many of them as possible.
