UTSA Radiation Safety Manual The UTSA Radiation Safety Manual is the most important document for the use of Radioactive Materials at UTSA next to our Radioactive Materials License. The manual is a binding part of our license with the state and cannot be changed in any substantive way without requesting a license amendment. The manual spells out the requirements for using radioactive material at UTSA. Each laboratory using radioactive material must keep a copy of the manual in a known and readily accesible location. A printed copy of the manual is available from the Office of Environmental Heatlh, Safety & Risk Management. A PDF copy of the manual is available at the following link and closely parallels the page structure of the printed manual. It has a hyperlinked table of contents and index and is searchable. |
