Currently UTSA accepts all Resin Codes, but please make sure the container has been cleaned.

The number contained within the recycling symbol is refered to as the Resin
ID Code. This numbering system was developed by the Society of The Plastics
Industry (SPI). The Resin ID Code makes it easier for people to determine
what their facility is capable of recycling.

The below are what the material codes represent:

  1. Polyethylene Terephthalate
  2. High-Density Polythylene
  3. Polyvinyl Chloride
  4. Low-Density Polyethylene
  5. Polypropylene
  6. Polystyrene
  7. Other
