Committees

The name of this organization shall be the Staff Council of the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) hereinafter referred to as Staff Council. The people represented are classified staff and administrative and professional staff as defined in Article III - Section 2-Eligibility, hereinafter referred to as Staff.

Section 1

Standing Committees will be determined by the elected Staff Council. It is necessary that Staff Council appoint a standing Elections Committee to facilitate nominations and election of representatives...

Section 2

Special Committees may be proposed by any member of Staff Council to fulfill specific goals. A majority vote of Staff Council will establish the committee.

Section 3

Special committee functions may be changed when needed by a majority vote.

Section 4

A member of any committee may be replaced or removed by a majority vote.
