ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Award: $2,000 a year ($1,000 per semester); number of awards varies

• Must be enrolled at UTSA for 12 semester hours
• Freshmen must have graduated in the top 25 percent of high school class
• Must have a minimum SAT score of 900 (CR and M excluding written) or ACT score of 20
• Transfer students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Application requirements: Alumni Association Scholarship application, autobiographical essay, two letters of recommendation and high school transcript for entering freshmen
  • Deadline: Feb.15

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Award: $2,000 a year ($1,000 per semester); number of awards varies

• Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at UTSA for minimum 9 semester hours
• Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA as an undergraduate or cumulative 3.0 GPA as a graduate student
  • Application requirements: Alumni Association Scholarship application, autobiographical essay, two letters of recommendation
  • Deadline: Feb.15

IVOR H. AND SEWELL N. SCHULTZ MPA SCHOLARSHIP
Award: One award of $500 per year

• Must be a senior at UTSA scheduled to graduate during the current academic year and planning to attend UTSA in the M.P.A. program during the following academic year or current UTSA student enrolled in M.P.A. program
• Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Preference given to nontraditional students
• Preference given to students with financial need as determined by the FAFSA
  • Application requirements: Ivor H. and Sewell M. Schultz MPA Scholarship application, autobiographical essay and two letters of recommendation
  • Deadline: Feb. 15

MJ SIMONSON SCHOLARSHIP
Award: One award of $500 a year

• Must be a graduating senior
• Must plan to attend law school upon graduation
• Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA
• Preference given to nontraditional applicants
  • Application requirements: MJ Simonson Scholarship application, autobiographical essay and two letters of recommendation
  • Deadline: Aug. 1

JOSEPH E. BROWN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ESTABLISHED BY THE UTSA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Award: One award of $2,000 a year ($1,000 per semester)- awarded by Department of Music; funded by UTSA Alumni Association

• Must be enrolled at UTSA for 15 semester hours
• Must be music major with voice as the primary instrument
• Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Application requirement: Audition in Department of Music
  • Deadline: Feb. 15

FRANK AND BEVERLY CHAPMAN SCHOLARSHIP
Award: One or more awards of $2,000 a year ($1,000 per semester)

• Must be enrolled at UTSA for 12 semester hours
• Must have graduated from high school within the last three years
• Entering freshmen must have graduated in the top 25 percent of their high school class
• Must have a minimum SAT score of 900 (CR and M excluding written) or ACT score of 20
• Preference given to students who have graduated from East Central High School in San Antonio, Texas
• Must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • Application requirements: Alumni Association Scholarship application, autobiographical essay, two letters of recommendation and high school transcript for entering freshmen
  • Deadline: Feb. 15

DR. RICARDO ROMO AND DR. HARRIETT ROMO SCHOLARSHIPS
Award: Two awards of $2,000 a year ($1,000 per semester)

• Must be enrolled at UTSA for 12 semester hours
• Entering freshmen must have graduated in the top 25 percent of their high school class
• Must have a minimum SAT score of 900 (CR and M excluding written) or ACT score of 20
• Preference given to students who have graduated from Fox Tech High School in San Antonio
• Must maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • Application requirements: Alumni Association Scholarship application, autobiographical essay, two letters of recommendation and high school transcript for entering freshmen
  • Deadline: Feb. 15

MARY ANNE MORGAN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
Award: One scholarship - amount varies (dependent on funds available)

• Must be enrolled at UTSA for 12 semester hours
• Entering freshmen must have graduated in the top 25 percent of their high school class
• Must have a minimum SAT score of 900 (CR and M excluding written) or ACT score of 20
• Preference given to students with financial need as determined by the FAFSA
  • Application requirements: Alumni Association Scholarship application, autobiographical essay, two letters of recommendation and high school transcript for entering freshmen
  • Deadline: Feb. 15
