ARMY ROTC FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS
Award: Tuition, fees, $900 a year for books and $300-$500 tax-free stipend per month; number of awards varies (renewable)
- Must have a minimum SAT score of 920 or ACT score of 19
- Must show participation in leadership, extracurricular or athletic activities, or have a part-time job
Application requirement: Apply on-line at www.armyrotc.com after March of junior year in high school
Deadline: Dec. 31 of senior year in high school
CAMPUS-BASED ARMY ROTC TWO-AND THREE-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS
Award: Tuition, fees, $900 a year for books and $300-$500 tax-free stipend per month; number of awards varies (renewable)
- Must be under the age of 31 on Dec 31 of year commissioned (may be waived)
- Must possess leadership and officer potential
- Must pass a medical exam
- Must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must be a full-time (12 hours) student at UTSA
Application requirement: Application available from UTSA Army ROTC
NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS
The Army is always looking for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. These students can often be awarded scholarships upon meeting the qualifications. If you are interested in becoming an Army nurse, contact (210) 458-5607.
GREEN-TO-GOLD SCHOLARSHIP
Award: Tuition, fees, $900 a year for books and $300-$500 tax-free stipend per month for two to four years; number of awards varies
- Must be under the age of 31 upon graduation (may be waived)
- Must pass a medical exam
- Must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must have no more than three dependents
- Must be a full-time (12 hours) student at UTSA
Application requirements: Applications available from UTSA Army ROTC, letter of acceptance from professor of military science, letter of acceptance from UTSA
Deadline: Dec. 1 to April 1 and June 1 to Oct 1
NATIONAL GUARD/RESERVE FORCES DUTY TWO- AND THREE-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS
Award: Tuition, fees, $900 books and $350-$500 tax-free stipend a month for two or three years; number of awards varies
- Must be under the age of 31 at the time of commissioning (may be waived)
- Must pass a medical exam
- Must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must have no more than three dependents
- Must be a full-time (12 hours) student at UTSA

TEXAS NATIONAL GUARD ROTC TUITION ASSISTANCE
Award: Tuition for four years; juniors and seniors receive $350-$500 a month from UTSA Army ROTC
- Must join the Texas Army National Guard
- Must be in the Army ROTC program
