CENTRO CULTURAL CUBANO ENDOWED AWARD IN SPANISH
Award: Number of awards and amounts vary
- Must have declared a major OR minor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and be actively pursuing a degree
- Must have completed at least two upper-division courses at UTSA in the major or one upper-division course in the minor by the award semester.
- Must have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA during period of award
- Must be enrolled in at least one upper-division course in the discipline of the major or minor during the award semester
- Application requirements: Applicants must demonstrate their interest in the study of modern languages and literatures by including with their scholarship application; an essay not to exceed 500 words on why they have chosen language studies; and two letters of recommendation from university faculty
MODERN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES ENDOWED UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Award: Number of awards and amounts vary
- Must have a major or minor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
- Must be enrolled on a full-time basis ( minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Must have completed at least two upper-division courses at UTSA in the major or one upper-division course in the minor by the award semester.
- Must have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA during period of award
- Must be enrolled in at least one upper-division course in the discipline of the major or minor during the award semester
- Application requirements: Scholarship Application; essay not to exceed 500 words on why they have chosen language studies; and two letters of recommendation from university faculty
