The Canseco Scholarship Fund for Laredo, Texas THE CANSECO SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR LAREDO, TEXAS
Award: Number and amount of awards vary
- Funds distributed from the endowment shall be used each year to provide a scholarship)s) equal to the cost of tuition and fees as determined by the FAFSA, or up to the amount of funds distributed annually from the endowment, whichever is lower. Initially, one scholarship per year will be awarded. As funding permits, additional recipients may be added.
- Must have graduated from a high school in Laredo or Webb County, Texas, at the time of application.
- Must be enrolled on a full-time basis and actively pursuing a degree within the College of Public Policy at UTSA or its successor.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate and 3.0 for graduate students (on a scale of 4.0).
- The number and value of each scholarship award shall be based on the amount of funds distributed annually from the endowment
- Recipient(s) of the scholarship will be known as Canseco Scholars.
- Deadline: Feb. 15
