The overall mission of the
MBRS Program at UTSA is to increase significantly the number of
under-represented minorities conducting biomedical research. To
this end, a major goal of our MBRS-SCORE program is to develop
the biomedical research capabilities of our faculty at UTSA. A second goal of our MBRS-SCORE program
at UTSA is to integrate SCORE program activities with those of
the RISE and MARC programs at UTSA to enhance student research
training.
