Inclusion and Mural Design Competition The
Inclusion and With
this in mind, we have purposefully designed a center that will physically
support these goals. As part of that design we are looking for talented
artists who might be interested in designing a wall mural for the Center.
This mural will be the centerpiece of the main reception area of the Center
and is intended to express our mission and vision artistically. The Process Mural
entries must be full color and can either be submitted electronically or on paper. If submitted on paper
the entry must be no larger than 11x17. Review

for Selection The
winning mural will be selected based on the artists overall interpretation of
our mission and core values. The Inclusion and Core Values The Inclusion and We value:
Meaningful
dialogues across ethnic, cultural, sexual orientation and gender identity
lines while providing support for single group interest.
Exploring the
educational benefits of active volunteerism for our students.
Access to
higher education and other retention efforts which encourage the
success,
educational and professional development of all individuals, particularly
those from underrepresented groups.
Cross-Cultural
collaboration with the
programming,
symposia, volunteer experiences and skills development activities,
which enhance the community involvement and academic mission of UTSA.
Guidance,
training, and support to other campus units towards the
accomplishment of a vision of equality and diversity. All
entries will be judged by a Selection Committee and the winner will have the
opportunity to paint their mural on a wall measuring 6’ wide by 10’ tall. All
decisions of the committee are final. All
