"Visiting With"......Orientation and Transition Services

Featuring….

Student Coordinators fill an integral role within Orientation and Transition Services by working to assist in the development and facilitation of all department services and programs. Student Coordinators consistently demonstrate strong leadership; and serve as peer supervisors.

Team Leaders:  The position of Team Leaders is multi-faceted.  It requires the student staff member to demonstrate leadership skills, serve as an indirect peer supervisor to the Orientation Leaders and be responsible for facilitating new student and family orientation programs.  A Team Leader works independently and as a part of the Orientation Leadership team.

Orientation Leaders/ Returnees:

The role of Orientation Leaders (OL) is multifaceted.  The OLs must be creative and “think on their feet” as they will encounter a variety of situations.  Through this work, the OLs interact with many UTSA constituencies—including student coordinators, team leaders, campus department and advising center staff members, administrators, and faculty members.
