Studying Abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will have during your university career. UTSA offers a wide variety of programs for students in many majors.
Making the decision to study abroad requires a great deal of planning. It is suggested that you begin your planning process as far as one year before you intend to step onto the plane.

Requirements
Students must be at least a sophomore at the time of departure. Freshmen may apply, but must have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours prior to departure. Students must be in good academic standing at UTSA.
Students must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. This GPA must be maintained until the time of departure. Students who do not maintain this minimum GPA may not be permitted to attend their study abroad program.
