Transfer Students from Texas Institutions of Higher Education

Students attending a Texas institution of higher education who have met the minimum standard on each section of an approved TSI assessment instrument or who have successfully completely the institution’s TSI developmental education program will be declared “college ready.” A student transferring to UTSA from another Texas institution of higher education and whose transcript indicates that he or she has been declared “college ready” by that institution will be declared “college ready” by UTSA and will have satisfied the requirements of the TSI. Otherwise, a student transferring to UTSA from another Texas institution of higher education must participate in the UTSA Developmental Education Program.
