Becoming a Terry Scholar

Please note that it is too late to apply for fall of 2012.
However, it is not too late to apply for fall of 2013.

To be considered for a UTSA Terry Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Demonstrate a record of leadership and service.
Have strong academic abilities, as evidenced by grades and standardized test scores.
Have financial need.
Be attending a Texas high school during the 2012-2013 academic year or be a home-schooled Texas resident.
Be a citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.
Apply for admission to UTSA by February 1, 2013.
Apply for financial aid, using the FAFSA, by March 1, 2013.
Be unmarried and not have children.
Freshmen Terry Scholars are required to live on campus. On campus housing applications and deposits are required upon award of scholarship.
