UTSA community enjoys food, fun at spirit rallies
(Aug. 26, 2003)--UTSA students, faculty and staff enjoyed free hot dogs, tamales and bunuelos served by UTSA staff from 11 to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Roadrunner Spirit Rally at Bill Miller Plaza on the Downtown Campus. The event, also celebrated at the 1604 Campus on the Sombrilla Plaza, was free to students, faculty and staff as part of the Week of Welcome (WOW).

Upcoming WOW events include the Fall Convocation and advising centers open house. In its second year, the Fall Convocation features a procession of faculty in academic regalia and staff in regalia and orange-and-blue UTSA colors.
