


UTSA continues Week of Welcome celebration
(Aug. 27, 2003)--UTSA students, faculty and staff attended the President's Fall Reception Tuesday evening on the east lawn of the Convocation Center at the 1604 Campus. Guests enjoyed BBQ, entertainment and recreational activities as part of Week of Welcome (WOW).
The UTSA community participated Monday in Spirit Rallies at Sombrilla Plaza on the 1604 Campus and Bill Miller Plaza on the Downtown Campus. At both campuses, staff members served hot dogs and tamales as UTSA cheerleaders performed for the crowds.
