Directed by William McCrary, UTSA assistant professor of music, and choreographed by Michelle Pietri, a San Antonio choreographer, the upbeat musical is the story of four young men in the 1950s -- Sparky, Jinx, Smudge and Frankie -- pursuing their dreams of becoming the next big thing in singing foursomes like the Four Lads, Four Freshmen and Hi-Los.

The 50s was the era of rock 'n' roll, greasers, hot rods, Elvis, Annette, Fabian and teenage rebellion, but also a more innnocent time when families gathered in front of the TV to watch the Ed Sullivan and Perry Como variety shows.

The music of the era is reflected in the musical with songs including "Three Coins in a Fountain," "Sixteen Tons" and "Crazy About You Baby."

Tickets are $12, $8 for students, military and seniors (55 and over). Group rates are available.
