HR Club associates to be honored Oct. 9 for work
(Sept. 30, 2003)--Mark Lengnick-Hall, UTSA professor of management, and Yvonne Herrera Steele, a UTSA business student, will be honored Oct. 9 at the HR Southwest Conference and Exposition at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Both are associated with the UTSA Society for Human Resource Management student chapter, known as the HR Club.
Lengnick-Hall will receive HR Southwest's Educator of the Year award including a $1,000 grant, and Steele will receive the Jim Wilkins Excellence in Education scholarship of $1,000.
At the presentation, a video will be shown highlighting Lengnick-Hall's accomplishments and work at UTSA. He has served as HR Club adviser for three years.
Steele, who nominated Lengnick-Hall for his award on behalf of the HR Club, is in her second term as club president. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, she works full time in the Wells Fargo compliance and community development department.
