Alumni Association to host cruise information meeting
(Oct. 28, 2003)--The UTSA Alumni Association will conduct an interest meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30 in the John Peace Library Building Assembly Room (4.03.08) for the upcoming UTSA Alumni & Friends Caribbean Cruise.
The May 16-23, 2004, cruise departs from and returns to Galveston with educational and entertaining stops along the way.

Departing May 16, the Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas is set to stop in Key West, Fla, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico, with a return to Galveston May 23.
Participants will step back in time to visit the Ernest Heminway home and museum in Old Town Key West, where the writer lived and wrote. The experience will be enhanced with on-board lectures by Kim Saxon, UTSA alumna and Hemingway scholar.
The stop at Grand Cayman includes a visit to the Seven Mile beach with its perfect golden sand and some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. At Cozumel, there will be opportunities to explore Mayan ruins, go scuba diving and embark on an adventure.
The cost ranges from $786 to $1156 per person based on double occupancy.
The package includes all meals, on-board entertainment and activities, room
service and use of the fitness center, among other amenities.
