Fiesta Texas parking, shuttle shift to other UTSA lots
(Oct. 30, 2003)--The shuttle service and parking lot availability at Fiesta Texas will end Friday, Oct. 31. The Fiesta Texas parking area will no longer be available due to the theme park closing for the season.
However, students will still find parking and a shuttle -- at two other 1604 Campus locations. Parking is available in lots 10 and 11 on the 1604 Campus to accommodate students who have used the Fiesta Texas shuttle service and parking lot.

"Parking in these under-utilized lots will be available to students at the 1604 Campus," said Roger Terry, UTSA parking and transportation manager. "Shuttles come by the lots frequently, but we encourage everyone to allow an extra 30 minutes in order to arrive at class on time."
Shuttle service is available to parking lots 10 and 11 at the 1604 Campus from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Shuttles pick up passengers every 15 minutes.
Five hundred two parking spaces are available in lot 10, located on George Brackenridge Avenue, west of University Oaks Apartments. Passengers can use the lot 11 bus stop or University Oaks Phase III bus stop.
Parking lot 11 is located on UTSA Boulevard, west of University Oaks Apartments. In the past, this lot has been under-utilized. University Oaks Phase III and lot11 shuttles stop at the Biosciences Building.
As another option, spaces are sometimes open in parking lot 12 on West Campus of the 1604 Campus behind the Sculpture and Ceramics Studio. The lot 12 shuttle stops from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, at Chisholm Hall and the Humanities and Social Sciences Building.
