UTSA student leader dies Nov. 23 in auto accident
(Nov. 24, 2003)--UTSA student Gerardo Colunga died Nov. 23 after an automobile accident.
Known as "G" to friends and family, Colunga was a UTSA management major, a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity and president of the Hispanic Student Association.

He worked at the Office of Career Services and most recently was serving an internship with the Institute for Economic Development Small Business Development Center, both at the UTSA Downtown Campus.
According to friends and co-workers, Colunga brightened a room with his smile, charisma and humor.
