UTSA hosts International Education Week Nov. 17-21

(Nov. 14, 2003)--The UTSA Office of International Programs will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17 in University Center Room 1.04.02 on the 1604 Campus.

The open house kicks off International Education Week and gives the UTSA community a chance to tour the Office of International Programs, meet new staff and enjoy refreshments.

Monday night the celebration continues with a screening of the film "Frida" in the University Center Laurel Room  (2.01.28). The film about Mexican painter Frida Kahlo will be shown at 7 p.m. with free admission and refreshments.

Nov. 20 the group will host a UTSA International Opportunities panel discussion from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the University Center Mesquite Room (2.01.24).  The discussion will touch on study abroad programs in Germany, Russia and Spain. A free lunch will be served to the first 25 attendees.

International Education Week concludes Friday, Nov. 21, with the film "Monsoon Wedding," in the University Center Laurel Room (2.01.28).  The movie begins at 5:30 p.m. with free admission and refreshments.
