UTSA commencement ceremonies set for Dec. 12-13
(Dec. 4, 2003)--More than 2,200 graduation candidates representing seven UTSA colleges and the School of Architecture are expected to participate in four UTSA Fall 2003 commencement ceremonies Dec. 12-13 at the Convocation Center on the UTSA 1604 Campus. Each ceremony will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable channel 19 and on UTSA-TV monitors.
Jeffrey W. Clarke, senior vice president and general manager of Dell Inc., is the keynote speaker at the 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12 commencement ceremony for the College of Engineering and the College of Sciences. Clarke and his wife Loretta, both UTSA alumni, recently donated $500,000 to UTSA to establish two distinguished professorships in the College of Engineering and the College of Education and Human Development.

Linda Foster, UTSA alumna and principal of Alamo Heights High School, is the keynote speaker at the 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 13 ceremony for the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and the School of Architecture.
Sen. John Cornyn is the keynote speaker at the 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13 ceremony for the College of Education and Human Development and College of Public Policy.
Former City Councilwoman Bonnie Conner will deliver the final keynote address at the 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13 ceremony recognizing graduates of the College of Business.
