UTSA seeks student opinions on class schedules, parking
(Dec. 3, 2003)--From now until Jan. 16 students can log onto the ASAP online information system and voice their opinions on class schedules and parking.
The University Scheduling Committee devised the survey to poll the student population on a variety of issues related to class schedules and parking, finally coming up with the 16-question survey currently online.

"We're leaving it out for several weeks to give students an opportunity to respond," said Joe DeCristoforo, UTSA assistant vice president and registrar. "We want to get as much input from our student population as we can."
The survey addresses student preferences on class locations, dates and times. Saturday classes and time formats for classes are also highlighted. Following the 16 specific questions, there's a place for students to submit comments.
To get to the survey, students must log on to ASAP and click the personal information link. "A nice thing about the ASAP survey process is it makes sure that you're a student and you're currently enrolled," DeCristoforo said. "Once you complete a survey then you can't go back on there and send another survey. It's one survey per student. It remembers you."
Results from the survey will be made available during the spring semester.
