UTSA Satellite Space presents video exhibit Jan. 2-3

(Dec. 19, 2003)--The University of Texas at San Antonio presents a two-day video exhibit, "Do Exactly As We Do Any Way You Do," Jan. 2-3 at the UTSA Satellite Space, 115 Blue Star, at South Alamo and Probandt streets.

A reception and screening of seven video works with the theme "identity lost and found" is from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, at the Satellite Space in the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. A second screening is 8 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 3. The reception and video showings are free and open to all.

Student artists contributing works include Richie Budd, San Antonio; Rebecca Burt, Canyon Lake; Yulia Kantor, Dallas and Jeb Stuart, San Antonio. Other contributing artists are Ronnie Bass and Wes Martin, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dave Seiden, Dallas.

Due to the nature of some videos in the showing, viewer discretion is advised.

The UTSA Satellite Space receives major support from UTSA's College of Liberal and Fine Arts and Department of Art and Art History, and from Bruce and Janet Lennie Flohr.

Donations are accepted for the UTSA Satellite Space, a student art venue.
